planning blog (music video)

 The song we are using for our music video is "you belong with me". Since this music video has to include a female and male one of us are going to dress up as a man. So we would need to get props to dress up each actor. We could use things like hoodies, dresses, hats, jewelry and makeup. Other props in our music video would be a car, iPhone, clock, led lights, and just little things that would be around a house. For the costumes each actor will dress up differently and accordingly to their role. One of us will dress up like a guy and at first wear a hoodie and basketball shorts. We will put makeup on her to make it seem as if she was a boy. We could use black eyeshadow and put it on her face so it looks like she has facial hair. Then we will do her hair. We can tie it up and put it in the back and cover it up with a hat. We can pull out pieces and then pin it to the side to get that Justin Bieber look. Now that the guy is dressed up it's time for the girls to get ready. The main character that the song is about will be getting dressed as well as her best friend.  They can be putting makeup on and doing their hair.  They will be dressing in tight fitted dresses and skirts. The girls will be dressed in heels. On 11/17 our group research conventions and codes will be finalized. As well as our props, costumes, schedule, location and backup plan. Then our group will create the storyboard for our music video by 11/20. The music video will be filmed on 11/30. We will finish editing our music video before 12/7.  We will publish our music video by 12/8. The music video will be filmed at Ella Jackson's house and in her neighborhood. Our backup plan if we can't attend Ella's house would be either mine or Eva's house.

             We will be filming at Ella Jacksons house, a restaurant and a black alley. 3 /6/21- 3/7/21 : we will begin the Filming. We will film  our first setting at  E lla’s house during the day.  3/13/21- 3/14/21 we will begin to film the second and third setting. It will be at the restaurant and the black alley way.  3/15/21 - 3/16/21 We will start Editing. We will make sure we are being supervised if filmed at night.  Everyone is going to be spaced out and not to close to each other do to covid.

Comparing Le Jetee, the short, and 12 Monkeys, the full-length movie

  In order to research and prepare for making my short film, I compared a short called Le Jetee and an article that describes 12 Monkeys. Le Jetee is a short film and 12 Monkeys is a full length movie based off of the film. My original google search gave me a description of Le Jetee and I think I will like it a lot. Short Film: To be brutally honest, Le Jetee left a mediocre impression on me. I like the foreign feel of the film and the introduction felt like where I got the bulk of the information. It was hard to process everything after the introduction, to be honest. There was so little and so much going on at the same time if that makes sense. There were images throughout which were kind of confusing but it made a bit of sense after I looked up how old this film was. I really didn't get the plot other than the parts with like time travel and Paris. It may have been a dystopia but I couldn't really tell. This might help with my mystery genre with the style of Le Jetee. I want
