 Over the weekend we started filming our second scenes. We all met up at Ellas house which was where we had to shoot the film. We spent a couple hours working on it and made sure we did the best we could. We messed a lot of times trying to film this scene because it was hard to get the angles but we managed to figure it out. We weren't able to finish the scenes because one of my group mates forgot some of the props at her house. During this film we also had our friend help assist us with a part of the film. She worked well with us on this and she also helped make things a little quicker. We are planning on completing the other scenes later on this week when everyone is free. We had to make sure that it wasn't too dark to film.  For the other part of the film, when it got late we made sure we were being supervised by adults. We also made sure the weather was good. We were kind of worried about the weather that night. We ended up getting lucky and the weather stayed nice and we made it through. There was a lot to worry about with the camera settings and how the clips would come out. Thankfully we had some good lighting and there were no problems with the camera. Overall it went really well and I liked how it all came out and looked.

             We will be filming at Ella Jacksons house, a restaurant and a black alley. 3 /6/21- 3/7/21 : we will begin the Filming. We will film  our first setting at  E lla’s house during the day.  3/13/21- 3/14/21 we will begin to film the second and third setting. It will be at the restaurant and the black alley way.  3/15/21 - 3/16/21 We will start Editing. All the settings will be done and edited together after school on both days.  3/20/21- We are not set on when we are going to be completed with our reflection questions. When done we will send too Cambridge.  Actors: Daniel; the killer,  Ella; the girl getting killed,  Paige; the friend,  Eva; the other friend.  Filmed;  Eva.  Editor ; Paige.  Director;  Ella.  Safety team; Daniel.  To ensure our safety we are going to make sure we are all wearing masks when off camera. We will make sure we are being supervised if filmed at night.  Everyone is going to be spaced out and not to close to each other do to covid.

Comparing Le Jetee, the short, and 12 Monkeys, the full-length movie

  In order to research and prepare for making my short film, I compared a short called Le Jetee and an article that describes 12 Monkeys. Le Jetee is a short film and 12 Monkeys is a full length movie based off of the film. My original google search gave me a description of Le Jetee and I think I will like it a lot. Short Film: To be brutally honest, Le Jetee left a mediocre impression on me. I like the foreign feel of the film and the introduction felt like where I got the bulk of the information. It was hard to process everything after the introduction, to be honest. There was so little and so much going on at the same time if that makes sense. There were images throughout which were kind of confusing but it made a bit of sense after I looked up how old this film was. I really didn't get the plot other than the parts with like time travel and Paris. It may have been a dystopia but I couldn't really tell. This might help with my mystery genre with the style of Le Jetee. I want
