our pitch


First Pitch- This film is more of a mystery genre. A group of girls download an app to start talking to guys because they are all tired of being single. One of them ends up going on a date with a guy they matched with even though her friends said not to because he was giving off weird vibes. After the date, the girl disappeared.

Second Pitch- This film is more of an action themed film. There’s a guy who is in need for money, he asks one of his drug dealers for money so he can supply himself with food and water. The guy would pay him back later on during the month so he has time to earn the money he owns him. After a couple weeks the drug dealer doesn’t hear from him and the guy doesn’t pick up the calls. The drug dealer finds his house and tries to rob him by breaking in to his home. When he breaks into the guys house he finds the guy and puts him into gun point  and makes him give his money back that he loaned.The guy doesn’t have the money so the drug dealer reloads his gun and it becomes silent.


We picked these pitches because they are interesting and action filled. They. are exciting and fun. We are picking pitch one for our final part.

             We will be filming at Ella Jacksons house, a restaurant and a black alley. 3 /6/21- 3/7/21 : we will begin the Filming. We will film  our first setting at  E lla’s house during the day.  3/13/21- 3/14/21 we will begin to film the second and third setting. It will be at the restaurant and the black alley way.  3/15/21 - 3/16/21 We will start Editing. All the settings will be done and edited together after school on both days.  3/20/21- We are not set on when we are going to be completed with our reflection questions. We will make sure we are being supervised if filmed at night.  Everyone is going to be spaced out and not to close to each other do to covid.

Comparing Le Jetee, the short, and 12 Monkeys, the full-length movie

  In order to research and prepare for making my short film, I compared a short called Le Jetee and an article that describes 12 Monkeys. Le Jetee is a short film and 12 Monkeys is a full length movie based off of the film. My original google search gave me a description of Le Jetee and I think I will like it a lot. Short Film: To be brutally honest, Le Jetee left a mediocre impression on me. I like the foreign feel of the film and the introduction felt like where I got the bulk of the information. It was hard to process everything after the introduction, to be honest. There was so little and so much going on at the same time if that makes sense. There were images throughout which were kind of confusing but it made a bit of sense after I looked up how old this film was. I really didn't get the plot other than the parts with like time travel and Paris. It may have been a dystopia but I couldn't really tell. This might help with my mystery genre with the style of Le Jetee. I want
